Peugeot has released a video and images of its new Rifter 4×4, a campervan for the modern age.
Destined to be the spiritual successor to the Peugeot Partner van, the Rifter adds a unique, sleek design and a premium driving experience to the market, adding the by now well know i-cockpit and grip control.
This concept camper van is built for adventure on all types of terrain. The car has a full-wheel drive, specific tyres, and a raised 80 mm ground clearance.
More impressively, it is fitted with an overland roof tent and also houses an electric mountain bike, the peugeot ‘EM02 FS’ powertube whose battery is directly integrated into the frame.
There’s plenty of neoprene type materials and lots of brushed metal look here, as well as nice yellow touches and plenty of black plastic to make you feel comfortable bashing it around the countryside.
The van will be formally announced at the Geneva Motor Show this year, but in the meantime, this video is a rather nice intro!
