Mazda have impressed, clearly, with their new MX-5, and there’s no denying it’s a very special breed of car.
Good news, then, that Mazda have already decided to bring out a special edition – the Mazda MX-5 Sport Recaro Limited Edition.
“Experience the exciting all-new Mazda MX-5 Sport Recaro Limited Edition. Named after its unique Recaro sports seats, this distinctive edition accentuates all-new Mazda MX-5s sporting credentials with Brilliant Black front, side, and rear airdam skirts, exclusive 17” Diamond cut alloy wheels with engraved “MX-5″ logo and a stunning Brilliant Black rear spoiler to complete the striking look. Available in either Soul Red Metallic or Ceramic Metallic, this stunning car is limited to just 600, each featuring an individually numbered interior badge.”
What’s possibly more excited however, are the new concept versions of the Mazda Spyder and Speedster….incredibly evocative of the racers of old…and exuding a certain sense of style one might not normally expect to see from the Japanese brand. Feast your eyes on this…
They are concepts. But I see no reason why the Spyder, in particular, shouldn’t be made. The brown soft top roof is fantastic, and matches the gun-metal grey of the car really sweetly.
