My name is Jacob – thank you for visiting Car Scribbler!
Born out of a love for the freedom and sense of adventure a car can give you, I started this blog at the start of 2014 to write about cars, travel, adventure and the unique sensation of driving a great car you love on a great road.
A copywriter and photographer by trade, I have put together content for a number of publications including MSN, Airliner World, the Gourmet Society, ATC Digital, Countryfile, the Girl Outdoors, Green Traveller and more.
I believe strongly that a car should be a conduit to adventure.
A car can help win wars, cross the desert, scale mountains and traverse caverns. Through adventures, an attachment is born, and it is this attachment I am interested in. A good car is practical.
My approach to writing reviews is honest and to the point. There aren’t any inflated claims – and I generally only feature cars and content on here that is in line with the Car Scribbler ethos. My interest is ‘does it do what it says it does’ and is it worth investing in from a practical point of view.
I’m on social media!
